This October 2025, the La Marginal Surfing Pro is being held in Puerto Rico, a stop on the ALAS Global Tour, where crucial points will be at stake to advance toward the Latin Grand Final. The surfers arrive with a clear mission: to compete, rack up rankings, and showcase their potential in one of the circuit’s most demanding venues.
For us at Sandpiper Surf Academy, it’s a moment of pride to announce that six of our athletes will be competing there: Eliott Videau, Simon Roberts, Nico Boos, Chace Quarles, Dario Vargas, and Bella Ayre.
¿what's at stake at La Marginal?
The event will take place October 23–26, 2025 in Jobos, Puerto Rico, as part of the ALAS Pro Tour / ALAS Global Tour.
This stop is pivotal: surfers from 22 nationalities have arrived to compete for points that could shape rankings and determine who advances to the circuit’s grand final.
The competition offers not only prestige but also acts as a qualifying filter for the Latin American championship’s grand finale.
Because of this, the presence of Sandpiper athletes at this stop carries double significance: to compete with the region’s best and to represent our academy on a continental stage.
These six athletes carry with them not only a board, but our passion, our vision for the future, and the name of Sandpiper across the Caribbean waves.
